Designed by Eiji Mitooka and assembled by craftspeople from across Kyushu, the Seven Stars carries just thirty guests in fourteen suites of camphor-wood marquetry, kumiko screens and rosewood inlay. Four-night loops from Hakata take in the porcelain town of Arita, the steaming onsen of Yufuin, the volcanic plateau of Aso and the gardens of Sengan-en in Kagoshima.
