General Information

Thorough pre-trip planning is essential for a smooth and enjoyable journey to Bhutan. Before you depart, research Bhutan’s ideal travel season, considering weather patterns and potential crowds. Confirm visa requirements well in advance, allowing ample time for application processing. Familiarize yourself with the Bhutanese Ngultrum and exchange rates to budget effectively. Check Bhutan’s electrical plug type and voltage to ensure your devices are compatible, or pack necessary adapters. This preparation minimizes unexpected issues and maximizes your Bhutanese travel experience. A little research goes a long way in ensuring a stress-free trip to Bhutan.
